The aims / learner outcomes of the online safeguarding children level 2 course
- Understanding the concept of safeguarding: Learners will develop an understanding of what safeguarding means and its importance in protecting children from harm, abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
- Recognising types of abuse: Participants will learn to identify different forms of abuse, including physical, emotional, sexual, and neglect, and understand the signs and indicators associated with each type.

- Roles and responsibilities: Through this online safeguarding children training participants will explore the roles and responsibilities of different individuals and organisations involved in safeguarding children, including their own responsibilities as professionals or volunteers working with children.
